Michigan Area Chapter

We are a regional chapter with members from all parts of Michigan, founded in 1989 to support and share the aims of the American Branch of the Richard III Society. Our members enjoy a variety of interests in medieval topics with an emphasis on 15th century England. We hope you will join us!

We meet officially four times a year, usually in January, April, July, and October. If a special event or opportunity presents itself, such as a museum tour or Renaissance Festival, we will gather at other times of the year. Our Fall meeting was held on Saturday, October 18, 1997 at the home of member Ellie Pierce. The program was on King Edward IV, older brother of Richard III. Election of officers took place with Eileen Prinsen being elected Moderator; Ellie Pierce, V.P. Seceretarial; and Linda Peecher, V.P. Financial. Janet Trimbath and Dianne Batch are Members-at-Large.
